Scope of this commitment
Algerian law has no enforceable digital accessibility standard comparable to the French RGAA or the European Accessibility Act. The previous version of this page invoked EU directive 2019/882: a text that does not apply here, and whose invocation gave this statement an authority it does not have.
The commitment made here is therefore voluntary. It is based on the WCAG 2.2 level AA criteria, the de facto international reference, without any legal obligation imposing them in Algeria.
Law no. 02-09 of 8 May 2002 on the protection and promotion of disabled persons lays down a general principle of access to services; it sets no technical criteria for a digital service.
State of conformance
Partial conformance. The ordering journey was designed and checked with these criteria in mind; the dashboard was not, with the same rigour.
No external audit has been carried out. No formal testing with a screen reader — VoiceOver, NVDA, TalkBack — has been conducted. Claiming conformance on that basis would be an unestablished statement.
Measures already in place
Semantic document structure: landmarks, heading hierarchy, real lists.
Touch targets of at least 44 pixels throughout the guest journey, including for buttons placed on a clickable card.
Contrast verified by calculation: the minimum 4.5:1 ratio is checked when the theme is saved, and the editor refuses a combination that does not meet it.
Respect for the system preference for reduced motion, applied both in CSS and in the animation engine.
Accessible labels on controls without visible text, and correct language attributes for each language version.
Full right-to-left support for Arabic, with amounts isolated so they remain readable left to right.
Known limitations
No formal screen reader audit. This is the most important limitation, and it is not closed by code review.
The floor plan relies on drag and drop, with no keyboard equivalent to date.
Some dashboard screens still contain untranslated text, and are therefore announced in a language other than the one selected.
Statistics charts have no structured text equivalent.
Reporting a difficulty
If you encounter an obstacle, write to us at the address shown in the legal notice, describing the page, the action attempted and the assistive technology used.
We reply within fifteen (15) working days and indicate, where applicable, another way of accessing the service.
